Abstract

Senate, December 4, 2025 -- The committee on Housing, to whom was referred the petitions (accompanied by bill, Senate, No. 963) of Brendan P. Crighton for legislation relative to local preference in affordable housing; (accompanied by bill, Senate, No. 971) of Sal N. DiDomenico for legislation relative to reforming the housing development incentive program; (accompanied by bill, Senate, No. 997) of Adam Gomez for legislation to create an office of tenant protections within the executive office of housing and livable communities; (accompanied by bill, Senate, No. 1012) of Mark C. Montigny for legislation relative to window guards in residential rental properties; (accompanied by bill, Senate, No. 1013) of Mark C. Montigny for legislation relative to access to air conditioning and relief from oppressive heat; (accompanied by bill, Senate, No. 1017) of Patrick M. O'Connor for legislation to reform the emergency assistance shelter program by limiting the scope to residents of the Commonwealth; (accompanied by bill, Senate, No. 1018) of Patrick M. O'Connor for legislation to allow municipalities to preserve owner occupancy in accessory dwelling units; (accompanied by bill, Senate, No. 1023) of Rebecca L.
