AN ACT relating to fire protection.

Abstract

Amend KRS 95A.520 and 95A.540 to apply existing provisions of law to departments that merge prior to the effective date of the Act; create a new section of KRS Chapter 95A to allow departments merging after the effective date of the Act to retain all qualified shares of aid that each merging department would have received prior to merger.
