Requires the law enforcement training board to develop a 40 hour critical incident or crisis intervention response training program in consultation with the technical assistance center. Requires that the program's curriculum be equivalent to curriculum developed by the National Alliance on Mental Illness and Crisis Intervention Teams International (NAMI/CIT International). Requires a law enforcement training school or academy to include the program as part of the basic training requirements. Makes technical corrections and removes an unused definition.
