Requires a registered home health aide who: (1) is employed as a home health aide; and (2) provides care to an individual who has been diagnosed with or experiences symptoms of Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or a related cognitive disorder; to complete certain dementia training. Sets forth the requirements of dementia training. Requires the state department of health to: (1) identify and approve a dementia training program that meets certain requirements as an approved dementia training program; and (2) establish and implement a process for state department approval of a dementia training program. Allows a home health aide to produce a certificate of completion issued by an entity that provides approved dementia training as proof of compliance with the training requirements.
