Fire and building safety matters.

Abstract

Requires carbon monoxide alarms in hotels, motels, and dwellings. Defines "carbon monoxide alarm". Prohibits the fire prevention and building safety commission or another state agency from adopting rules requiring the installation of an arc fault circuit interrupter. Prohibits a political subdivision from adopting an ordinance or other regulation requiring the installation of an arc fault circuit interrupter.
