Sex Offender Reg-Sex Motivated

Abstract

Amends the Sex Offender Registration Act. Includes in the definition of "sex offender" a person who is convicted of or adjudicated a juvenile delinquent as the result of committing an act which if committed by an adult would constitute an offense, other than a sex offense, if the court finds at the time of sentencing that the person committed the offense for the purpose of sexual arousal or sexual gratification. Provides that the court shall state on the record the reasons for its findings and the reasons for requiring registration.
