Income Threshold Adjustment

Abstract

Creates the Income Threshold Adjustment Act. Provides that to the extent a person's eligibility for benefits or services provided by a State agency is based on income threshold criteria established by the State agency and the person is employed in a municipality that (i) has a population over 500,000 and (ii) has or adopts an ordinance providing for the establishment of a minimum wage rate that is higher than the State minimum wage rate, the State agency shall adjust the income threshold criteria to account for the higher minimum wage rate established by the municipality so as to not affect that person's eligibility for the services provided.
