Sale Of Unpasteurized Milk

Abstract

Amends the Grade A Pasteurized Milk and Milk Products Act. Permits the sale and distribution of any milk or milk product for human use or consumption only if such milk or milk product has been produced and processed in accordance with rules adopted by the Department of Public Health. Requires the Department to adopt rules for the production and processing of unpasteurized milk or milk product. Provides that a seller or distributor is not liable for any injury caused to another person by that person's consumption of unpasteurized milk or milk product if that product has been produced and processed in accordance with the Department's rules.
