Disapprove E.O. 4, 5, And 6

Abstract

Disapproves the following Executive Order reorganizations and reassignments, all of which state that they are immediately effective: Executive Order 14-04, which transfers certain functions and responsibilities within the Department of Human Services by consolidating the Division of Mental Health with the Division of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse into a newly-created Division of Mental Health and Addiction Recovery Services; Executive Order 14-05, which transfers the Illinois Commission on Volunteerism and Community Service from the Department of Human Services to the Department of Public Health; and Executive Order 14-06, which transfers functions of the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority to the newly-created Illinois Data Exchange Coordination Council within the Authority.
