Idot-Projects:Business Impact

Abstract

Amends the Department of Transportation Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that for the duration of a road construction project, the Department of Transportation shall erect signage directing the public to each business impacted by the construction project. Provides that the signage shall: (1) inform the public that the business is open and accessible; and (2) direct the public to alternative places and routes for parking. Provides that the Department shall adopt rules to implement the new provisions.
