Dot-Roads-Life Cycle Cost

Abstract

Amends the Department of Transportation Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that the Department of Transportation shall develop and implement a life-cycle cost analysis for each new construction or reconstruction project undertaken by the State for roads (instead of "State road project") under its jurisdiction for which the total pavement costs exceed $500,000 funded in whole, or in part, with State or State-appropriated funds. Effective immediately.
