Inc Tx-River Edge-Enterprise

Abstract

Amends the Illinois Income Tax Act. In provisions concerning a jobs credit for taxpayers conducting a trade or business in an enterprise zone or a River Edge Redevelopment Zone, provides that the term "eligible employee" includes an employee who is certified as eligible for services pursuant to the regulations promulgated under Title I of the Workforce Investment Act by (i) the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity or (ii) a Workforce Investment Program Services Administrator (now, an eligible employee must be certified by the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity as "eligible for services" pursuant to regulations promulgated under Title II of the Job Training Partnership Act, Training Services for the Disadvantaged, or Title III of the Job Training Partnership Act, Employment and Training Assistance for Dislocated Workers Program). Effective immediately.
