Expulsion-Derrick Smith

Abstract

Expels Rep. Derrick Smith from the House of Representatives of the 97th General Assembly. Adopts the charge and specifications filed by the House Special Investigating Committee, and the report and recommendations filed by the House Select Committee on Discipline. Finds a sufficient basis for the immediate expulsion of Rep. Smith. States the voting and procedural requirements provided for expulsion of a Member under House Rules.
