Metro Water Reclamation Dist

Abstract

Amends provisions of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District Act concerning political contributions. Provides that during an officer's or employee's compensated time, other than vacation, personal, or compensatory time off, the officer or employee shall not solicit, give, or receive any assessment, subscription, or contribution from any member of the classified civil service for any political purpose. Provides that during an employee's compensated time, other than vacation, personal, or compensatory time off, an employee in the classified service shall not take any part in the management or affairs of any political party or in any political campaign, except under specified circumstances. Defines "compensated time" and "compensatory time off". Effective immediately.
