Edward D. Maloney

Amends the Local Governmental and Governmental Employees Tort Immunity Act. Adds to the definition of a "local public entity": an association of school districts, association of school boards, and any not-for-profit association, partnership, or other organization or entity organized for the purpose of conducting public business. Provides that these changes apply to pending actions as well as actions commenced on or after the effective date. Effective immediately.
