Juv Ct-Foster Care

Abstract

Amends the Juvenile Court Act of 1987. Provides that in cases involving an abused, neglected, or dependent minor, the court shall set as one of the goals at the permanency hearing that the minor will be in long-term foster care, in an identified, specified, and committed foster home, provided that other statutorily listed goals have been ruled out. Effective immediately.
