General Assembly Furlough Days

Abstract

Amends the General Assembly Compensation Act. Provides that, if the General Assembly, by law, requires any State employees to take one or more unpaid days off as furlough days, then each and every member of the General Assembly is mandatorily required to take at least an equivalent number of unpaid days off as furlough days in the same period during which the employees must take the furlough days. Effective immediately.
