Student Silent Reflect/Med

Abstract

Amends the Silent Reflection and Student Prayer Act. Changes the short title of the Act to the Silent Reflection and Meditation Act. Provides that the brief period of silence at the opening of every school day must not exceed one minute and shall be an opportunity for silent reflection (instead of prayer) or for silent meditation (instead of reflection) on the anticipated activities of the day. Repeals a Section concerning student prayer. Effective immediately.
