Parentage Act-Pregnancy Expens

Abstract

Amends the Illinois Parentage Act of 1984. Provides that in an action brought within 2 years after a judicial determination of parentage (instead of within 2 years after a child's birth), the judgment or order shall (instead of may) direct either parent to pay the reasonable expenses incurred by either parent or the Department of Healthcare and Family Services (instead of either parent) related to the mother's pregnancy and the delivery of the child.
