Consumer Fraud-Claims-Damages

Abstract

Amends the Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act. Provides that the Act does not apply to claims seeking damages for conduct that results in bodily injury, death, or damage to property other than the property that is the subject of the practice claimed to be unlawful. Applies to actions filed on or after July 1, 2008. Effective immediately.
