Utilities-Outage Refunds

Abstract

Amends the Public Utilities Act. Requires an electric utility to refund a customer's electricity bill for the time during electric utility outages at the rate of $100 per day for an outage lasting between 25 or more hours and 72 or less hours, and at a rate of $200 per day for an outage lasting more than 72 hours. Effective immediately.
