Govt Ethics-Economic Interests

Abstract

Amends the Illinois Governmental Ethics Act. Provides that an elected official of a unit of local government, a school district, or a community college district does not have to file a statement of economic interests in the calendar year in which his or her term ends if the term ends before June 15 and the official is not a candidate for re-election.
