County Officer Compensation

Abstract

Amends the Counties Code. Provides that beginning July 1, 2007, no county with a population under 2,000,000 may reduce the rate of compensation of a county officer below the rate it was actually paying on January 1, 2007 or the effective date of the amendatory Act, whichever is greater. Effective immediately.
