Use & Occ Tx-Hybrid Cars

Abstract

Amends the Use Tax Act, the Service Use Tax Act, the Service Occupation Tax Act, and the Retailers' Occupation Tax Act. Provides that, beginning on the effective date of this amendatory Act and through June 30, 2013, hybrid vehicles and components for hybrid vehicles are exempt from taxation under the Acts. Effective immediately.
