Abstract

Amends the Counties Code. Repeals certain Sections of the Code that require a recorder to make and certify abstracts of title to real estate and to charge a fee for certifying abstracts of title and to make tax and judgment searches and charge a fee for those searches. Repeals a Section of the Code that requires the recorder to give bond in connection with abstracts of title. Effective immediately.
