Wild Lif-Field Sport License

Abstract

Amends the Wildlife Code. Provides that any individual engaged in field sport in this State must be licensed as a field sport huntsman or accompanied by a licensed field sport huntsman. Sets forth certain requirements for this license. Provides that a person engaged in field sport without a license or without being accompanied by a licensed field sport huntsman shall be guilty of a petty offense and subject to an administrative fine. Provides that the holder of a field sport license shall be liable for any damage to real or personal property caused by a field sport hunting party in which the licensee was present, participated in, sponsored, or otherwise accompanied. Defines "field sport" as any organized hunt that uses dogs or hounds for tracking game including, without limitation, foxes and coyotes.
