Epa-Waste Disposal Permits

Abstract

Amends the Environmental Protection Act. Provides that municipal solid waste landfill units used exclusively for the transfer, storage, or treatment of general construction or demolition debris in compliance with certain provisions of the Act do not need a permit if located in a county with a population over 600,000 as of January 1, 2000 (now, these facilities do not need a permit if located in a county with a population over 700,000 as of January 1, 2000).
