Meth Control Law Commission

Abstract

Creates the Methamphetamine Control Law Commission Act. Creates a Methamphetamine Control Law Commission to draft a Methamphetamine Control Act to address crimes involving methamphetamine, including, but not limited to, its illegal manufacture, delivery, and possession and the theft and purchase of methamphetamine precursors used to manufacture methamphetamine. Provides that the Commission shall present its findings and its draft of the Methamphetamine Control Act to the Governor and General Assembly by December 31, 2006. Provides that the Commission shall cease to exist one year after the effective date of the Act. Repeals the Methamphetamine Control Law Commission Act on July 1, 2007.
