Election Cd-Conviction

Abstract

Amends the Election Code. Adds a new Section regarding qualifications for elected local government or school district office. Provides that no person shall be eligible for elected local government or school district office if he or she has been convicted of any infamous crime, bribery, perjury, or other felony. Effective immediately.
