Budget Stabilization-Revenues

Abstract

Amends the State Finance Act. Requires that State revenues in excess of estimates published by the Bureau of the Budget must be transferred into the Budget Stabilization Fund each fiscal year. Removes (i) the authorization for the State Comptroller to direct payments from the Fund from time to time and (ii) the requirement that the Fund be repaid. Effective immediately.
