Elaine Nekritz

Creates the Gubernatorial Late Term Appointment Act. Provides that when a lame duck Governor makes appointments that are confirmed by the Senate within the last 60 days of his or her term, the late term appointees serve no longer than the sixtieth day of the succeeding Governor's term. Permits the succeeding Governor to then fill those vacant appointed offices.
