Juv Ct-Detention Jail

Abstract

Amends the Juvenile Court Act of 1987. Provides that a minor who violates a condition of his or her probation or conditional discharge may be ordered detained in a juvenile detention home if the minor is at least 10 years of age and under 17 years of age. Provides that if the minor is at least 17 years of age the minor may be detained in the county jail. Effective immediately.
