Crim Pro-Order Of Protection

Abstract

Amends the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963, the Illinois Marriage and Dissolution of Marriage Act, and the Illinois Domestic Violence Act of 1986. Provides that if an order of protection has been entered against one of the parties or in other appropriate circumstances, the court may appoint or may direct the Department of Children and Family Services to appoint a neutral third party to be present when the child is exchanged for visitation. Effective immediately.
