Member Initiative Approps

Abstract

Amends the State Finance Act. Requires appropriations for legislative member initiatives to be by separate line items and not by lump sum. Requires applications to be on file with the Bureau of the Budget and posted on its web site. Makes re-transferring funds a Class A misdemeanor. Requires the Auditor General to conduct random audits. Defines terms. Contains other provisions. Effective immediately.
