Vehicles-Revoke Registration

Abstract

Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code, the Illinois Marriage and Dissolution of Marriage Act, and the Illinois Parentage Act of 1984. Provides that the Secretary of State shall revoke the registration of any vehicle owned and driven by a person adjudicated more than 90 days in arrears in payment of child support. Provides for the same due process procedures that apply when a court seeks to suspend a person's driving privileges for failure to comply with a support order. Provides for temporary registration of a vehicle for employment, medical, or other specified purposes. Effective immediately.
