Crim Pro-$5 Bail Credit

Abstract

Amends the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963. Repeals the provision that a person incarcerated on a bailable offense who does not supply bail and against whom a fine is levied on conviction of the offense shall be allowed a credit of $5 for each day the defendant was incarcerated. Effective immediately.
