Credit Report-Disclosure

Abstract

Amends the Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practice Act. Provides that a credit reporting agency shall disclose specified information to the consumer concerning their credit and shall make a written disclosure informing consumers of their rights. Provides that the credit reporting agency list its name and number in each telephone directory published to serve communities in this State. Provides that a credit reporting agency shall not impose a charge for specified disclosures.
