Pvt Alrm Cntrctr-Lcksmth-Exmpt

Abstract

Amends the Private Detective, Private Alarm, Private Security, and Locksmith Act of 1993. Provides that a person may receive a license as a private alarm contractor without meeting certain requirements if he or she applies for a license between December 9, 2003 and December 12, 2003. Provides that a person who applies for a license as a locksmith between December 9, 2003 and December 12, 2003 is exempt from the examination requirement. Effective immediately.
