Amends the Criminal Code of 1961. Provides that it is unlawful for a person to knowingly manufacture or produce a false academic degree or for a person to knowingly use a false academic degree for the purpose of obtaining employment or admission to an Illinois institution of higher learning or admission to an advanced degree program at an Illinois institution of higher learning or for the purpose of obtaining a promotion or higher compensation in employment. Effective immediately.
