Govt Ethics-Public Service Ads

Abstract

Amends the Illinois Governmental Ethics Act. Prohibits the dissemination, during the period 30 days before or on the date of a general primary election or 60 days before or on the date of a general election, of public service announcements for programs of a State executive branch constitutional officer that contain the name, image, or voice of any State executive branch constitutional officer and that were paid for in full or in part by State funds.
