Abstract

Amends various Acts relating to the governance of public universities in Illinois. Provides that if a student has paid a fine to the university for conduct that violated a university policy governing student conduct and a municipality imposes a fine on that student for the same conduct because the conduct violated an ordinance, then the university must pay to the municipality on behalf of the student the fine imposed by the municipality or that part of the fine that equals the amount of the fine imposed by the University, whichever is less.
