Amends the Nurse Practice Act. Removes a provision providing that the scope of practice of an advanced practice registered nurse with full practice authority includes prescribing benzodiazepines or Schedule II narcotic drugs. Senate Floor Amendment No. 1 Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Nurse Practice Act. Provides that the scope of practice of an advanced practice registered nurse with full practice authority includes prescribing up to a 120-day supply of benzodiazepines without a consultation relationship with a physician. Provides that thereafter, continued prescription of benzodiazepines shall require a consultation with a physician. Makes other changes.
