Wildlife Cd-Wld Turkey-Shotgun

Abstract

Amends the Wildlife Code. Permits the taking of wild turkey by a shotgun of not larger than 10 gauge nor smaller than .410 bore, using shot size not larger than No. 4. Now, the Code permits the taking of wild turkey by a shotgun of not larger than 10 nor smaller than 20 gauge with shot size not larger than No. 4. House Committee Amendment No. 1 Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Wildlife Code. Permits the taking of wild turkey by a shotgun of not larger than 10 gauge nor smaller than .410 bore. Provides that the Department of Natural Resources may, by administrative rule, restrict shot size, material, or density. Now, the Code permits the taking of wild turkey by a shotgun of not larger than 10 nor smaller than 20 gauge with shot size not larger than No. 4. Senate Committee Amendment No. 1 Deletes reference to: 520 ILCS 5/2.11 Adds reference to: 520 ILCS 5/1.1 from Ch. 61, par. 1.1 Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Wildlife Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.
