Abstract

Amends the Developmental Education Reform Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title. House Floor Amendment No. 1 Deletes reference to: 110 ILCS 175/100-1 Adds reference to: 105 ILCS 5/14-8.02 from Ch. 122, par. 14-8.02 105 ILCS 5/14-8.02f Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Children with Disabilities Article of the School Code. Provides that the notice required under provisions concerning the identification, evaluation, and placement of a child that is provided to the parent or guardian shall inform the parent or guardian of the parent's or guardian's right to receive copies of all written material that will be considered by the individualized education program team and shall provide the date when the written material will be delivered or made available to the parent or guardian. Effective immediately. House Floor Amendment No. 2 Deletes reference to: 105 ILCS 5/14-8.02 from Ch. 122, par. 14-8.02 Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Inserts the contents of House Amendment No. 1 but removes a conforming change.
