Pesticides-Registration

Abstract

Amends the Illinois Pesticide Act. Increases various fees imposed under the Act beginning in 2024. Amends the Lawn Care Products Application and Notice Act. Provides that the lawn care containment permit fee is $250 (rather than $100). Senate Floor Amendment No. 2 Adds reference to: 415 ILCS 60/19 from Ch. 5, par. 819 Further amends the Illinois Pesticide Act. Provides that the Interagency Committee on Pesticides shall examine, with the assistance of the Department of Agriculture, the possibility of using continuing education courses to satisfy pesticide applicator competency requirements required for existing licensees.
