Amends the Code of Civil Procedure. Makes a technical change in the short title Section. House Floor Amendment No. 1 Deletes reference to: 735 ILCS 5/1-101 Adds reference to: 735 ILCS 30/25-5-105 new 735 ILCS 30/25-5-110 new 735 ILCS 30/25-5-115 new 735 ILCS 30/25-5-120 new 735 ILCS 30/25-5-125 new Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Eminent Domain Act. Provides that quick-take powers may be used for a period of no more than 2 years after the effective date of the amendatory Act by Will County for the acquisition of certain described property for the purpose of road construction. Repeals the new provisions 3 years after the effective date. Effective immediately.
