Sch Cd-Safe2Help Helpline

Abstract

Amends the School Code. Provides that student identification cards shall also provide contact information for the Safe2Help Illinois helpline. Effective July 1, 2023. House Floor Amendment No. 1 Deletes reference to: 105 ILCS 10-20.76 105 ILCS 34-18.67 Adds reference to: 105 ILCS 5/10-20.81 105 ILCS 5/34-18.75 105 ILCS 5/34-18.67 105 ILCS 5/10-20.76 rep. 105 ILCS 5/34-18.67 rep. Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the School Boards and the Chicago School District Articles of the School Code. In provisions concerning identification cards, and suicide prevention information, removes the option to have a local suicide prevention hotline number on the card. Repeals certain provisions concerning student identification cards. Effective July 1, 2023.
