Impact Of Sugary Beverages

Abstract

Urges the Illinois General Assembly to examine the impact of sugary beverages on children. Further urges everyone to make healthy choices in their respective diets. House Floor Amendment No. 2 Deletes everything. Inserts new language urging state officials, in partnership with school districts and organizations in the public and private sectors, to continue to adhere to and enforce the beverage standards included in the Healthy Hunger Free Kids Act of 2010. Urges the General Assembly to continue to monitor the impact of sugar from all sources on the State's residents. Urges everyone to make healthy choices in their respective diets.
