Amends the Unified Code of Corrections. Provides that the Department of Corrections shall operate the Tamms Work Camp located in Tamms, Illinois. House Committee Amendment No. 1 Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Unified Code of Corrections. Creates the Tamms Minimum Security Unit Task Force to study using the Tamms Minimum Security Unit as a vocational training facility for the Department of Corrections. Creates membership for the Task Force. Provides that the Department of Corrections shall provide administrative support to the Task Force. Provides that the Task Force shall submit a report to the Governor and the General Assembly on or before December 31, 2020 with its recommendations. Dissolves the Task Force on January 21, 2021. Senate Floor Amendment No. 2 Provides that one member of the Tamms Minimum Security Unit Task Force shall be appointed by the Lieutenant Governor to serve as chair. Deletes language providing that the Tamms Minimum Security Unit Task Force shall include one member representing a labor organization for Department of Corrections employees, appointed by the Director of Corrections. Provides instead that the Task Force shall include one member of a labor organization representing a plurality of Department of Corrections employees.
