Relating To Food Supply.

Abstract

Requires the Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism to identify sites throughout the State that are suitable for the development of slaughterhouses. Requires the Agribusiness Development Corporation to plan, design, construct, and operate certain animal slaughterhouses throughout the State. Declares that the general fund expenditure ceiling is exceeded. Makes an appropriation. Takes effect 1/1/2060. (SD1)
